A 33-year-old mother, Aida Sabola Fadwick, from Khonjeni village, Traditional Authority Kapichi in Thyolo, has delivered triplets at Thyolo District Hospital.

Sabola said today that the children, who are all girls, were born yesterday, and they require some support from well-wishers in terms of food and bedding, besides clothes.

The hospital officials say two children are now at the nursery since they were born below weight.

The district's health office spokesperson, Fanuel Makina, indicates that the trio weighs 1.300 g, 1.600 g, and 2.500 g, respectively.

Meanwhile, Thyolo district commissioner Hudson Kuphanga has supported the children with K50,000.
