PYJAMA NIGHT WITH PASTOR PRISCILLA ZIBA

Pastor Priscilla Ziba, wife to the Founder of Fountain of Victory Church International, Apostle Joseph Ziba had a wonderful time in the presence of the Lord with the girls at their house during the Pyjama Night which falls under Girls Hut Ministry. The pyjama night is one of the activities the church uses to mentor young girls.
The Girls Hut is a mentorship program designed to guide young girls in becoming godly women through biblical teaching, character development and life empowerment. It provides a platform where older women mentor younger girls on how to conduct themselves in a Christ-like and purposeful manner. The program focuses on mentorship in the following areas:

- Service in church
- Behaviour and character building
Training in righteousness and the fear of the Lord
- Purity and personal hygiene
- Home management
Church administration and discipline (Titus 2:3–5)

This year God directed me to start building them in the following areas:

1. Identity in Christ: Helping the young girls understand who they are as children of God, who they have become in Christ, and how to discover their destiny and purpose in life.

2. Ministry Empowerment: aiming at raising reliable future Christian leaders such as intercessors, administrators, teachers, and other servants in the body of Christ. We also helped them learn how to stand firm spiritually, fight the good fight of faith, and remain disciplined and faithful soldiers of Christ through godly character and conduct.

3. Career Advancement, Skills, and Talents: encouraging the girls to develop their God-given talents, pursue education and careers with excellence, and build confidence in their abilities.

4. Business Empowerment: encouraging the young girls on the importance of gaining knowledge in entrepreneurship and financial wisdom so they can become independent and responsible women in the future.

GOVERNMENT ASSURES TO***CO FARMERS OF MARKET AS MZUZU FLOORS OPEN

The Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development, Roza Fatch Mbilizi, has assured to***co farmers that all to***co taken to the market will be bought during the 2026 marketing season.

She made the remarks during the official opening of the Mzuzu Auction Floors, where she said government is working closely with industry players to address challenges affecting the to***co market. Mbilizi emphasized that no farmer should be left with unsold to***co, as efforts are being made to create a fair and reliable market for all growers.

The minister explained that discussions with buyers, regulators and other stakeholders are ongoing to improve transparency and efficiency in the system. She added that government is committed to protecting farmers’ incomes and strengthening the agriculture sector.

Speaking on behalf of farmers, Abel Kumwenda thanked the minister for encouraging dialogue among key players. He said farmers had raised concerns that buyers were favoring contract to***co over auction sales.

Kumwenda noted that the situation has now improved, giving farmers renewed hope for better sales this season.
