It is with great sadness that I find myself having to be the bearer of the bad news.

The Photographer of this page, the passionate diver, the shark enthusiast, Ahmed Nawas, passed away during a Dive Accident on the morning of 16th November 2015 in ADh Atoll, Maldives.

In his memory and for his passion for diving and photography, I believe it's best to keep this page Alive.

MantaRays are very close relatives of the shark. Ironically, sharks as well as orcas are their main predators. They are also closely related to the stingray but they don’t have a stinger.[http://www.mantaray-world.com]

Name: Blood-spotted Crab (Carpilius Maculatus)

Description: A common nocturnal species known from the red sea to the south pacific. The color and pattern varies little throughout its distribution.

Habitat: Found in coral reefs, rocky reefs.
