☀️🌿 Our Summer School theme today was all about exploring nature through play! 🍃 The children had lots of fun creating with nature playdough, using leaves, flowers, twigs, and other natural treasures to make beautiful patterns and designs. 🌼 They also enjoyed a nature shapes activity, discovering and matching different shapes using materials found in nature while developing their observation skills. 🍂 Finally, everyone loved getting stuck into messy nature play, exploring natural textures, mixing, pouring, and investigating the wonderful world around them through hands-on sensory experiences. 🌱🪵💚 It was a fantastic day full of curiosity, creativity, and outdoor learning! 🌈✨

🌈🎨 Today was all about exploring colours through hands-on fun! The children had a fantastic time enjoying a variety of colourful activities. 🍦 They used pipettes to create beautiful ice cream masterpieces, strengthening their fine motor skills while mixing vibrant colours. 🖍️ Outside, they expressed their creativity with chalk painting, filling the ground with bright and cheerful artwork. 🐠 They also practised colour recognition through a fish colour matching activity, carefully matching each fish to its correct colour. 🌈 The fun continued with rainbow Fruit Loops, where the children sorted and created colourful patterns, and they loved the sensory experience of playing with coloured water balls, exploring different textures and colours through play. 💙❤️💛💚 It was a joyful day full of creativity, learning, and colourful discoveries! ✨

👶 A Day in the Baby Room 💛

The babies had a fun-filled day beginning with 🌳 outdoor play, where they explored their surroundings, developed their gross motor skills, and enjoyed the fresh air. They then gathered for 📖 story time, encouraging language development, imagination, and listening skills. Next, the children took part in 🍄 mushroom finger painting, exploring colours and textures while expressing their creativity and strengthening their fine motor skills. They also enjoyed 🌵 cactus tuff tray play, which provided a hands-on sensory experience that encouraged curiosity and exploration. The day finished with 🏖️ afternoon sand play, where the babies scooped, poured, and explored the different textures of the sand, supporting sensory development, fine motor skills, and cooperative play.
