🇬🇧Last week we had an open mic night that took place in collaboration with Sartolini - A Sisterly Collaboration who helped us create some lovely poems in Maltese about every child present.
It was an amazing evening, where we celebrated their journey in learning Maltese in front of their parents and we couldn’t be more proud of them!
From learning how to introduce themselves, to talking about their day, or writing their own story and having debate - they were all amazing!!
Celebrating and encouraging the use of the Maltese language in everyday life, one conversation at a time.
🇲🇹Il-ġimgħa li għaddiet kellna serata Open Mic li ttellgħet f’kollaborazzjoni ma’ Sartolini - A Sisterly Collaboration. Nirringrazzjawhom mill-qalb tal-poeżiji bil-Malti li għinuna noħolqu dwar kull tifel u tifla preżenti!
Kienet serata memorabbli, fejn iċċelebrajna l-vjaġġ tat-tfal fit-tagħlim tal-Malti quddiem il-ġenituri tagħhom. Għamluna tassew kburin bihom!
Rajniehom jintroduċu ruħhom, jitkellmu dwar il-ġurnata tagħhom, jirrakkontaw storja li kitbu huma, u anke joħolqu dibattitu. Kollha kemm huma ġabulna għajnejna wara widnejna!
L-idea hija li niċċelebraw u ninkoraġġixxu l-użu tal-lingwa Maltija fil-ħajja ta’ kuljum. Pass pass naslu!

Sometimes I'd be in the middle of a session, they'd be loads of great things going on; students playing in their break, others working, I'd be explaining. Then I'd think...this is amazing, I love my job...and this is what I've dreamed of doing. Oh yeah, I should take a picture of this.😇😅
Kids..you made April amazing. It was peaceful but also filled with hard work, playing during short breaks, sharing a joke or too and having a laugh.
Basically, very fullfilling.
