[NVDA- AVS] AVS2026 🌏CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Asian Voluntary Service (AVS) is a special program of NVDA where young people across Asia join community-based workcamps and NGO office internships together.

The program focuses on environment, rural development, community learning, cultural exchange, and youth leadership.
Since 2014, AVS has brought volunteers from across Asia to learn, collaborate, and support local communities together.

💖 Why join AVS?
• Become part of a regional youth network
• Gain hands-on leadership and collaboration experience
• Support meaningful grassroots community activities
• Live, learn, and grow together in real local contexts

📅 Program Period (70 days):
• Jan 11 – Mar 21, 2026 → Thailand / Nepal
• Jan 19 – Mar 29, 2026 → Japan / Cambodia / Laos

🛠 Volunteers will:
• Join international workcamps (may serve as co-leaders)
• Support daily office and community activities of the host NGO
• Work in pairs with local volunteers
• Stay within the hosting community and learn local culture and life

💰 Financial Support:
• Accommodation & meals provided by host NGOs
• Travel support up to 40,000 JPY

👥 Who can apply?
• Age 18–39
• Must be sent from an NVDA member organization
• Motivated to learn, share, and collaborate across cultures
