✅ You should be familiar with math concepts, measurements, equations, and applying math concepts in order to solve real-life problems.

✅ You don’t have to memorize formulas and will be given a formula sheet in the test center as well as on the screen in the test.

🔑 The SAT is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. The test was originally called the Scholastic Aptitude Test and later became the Scholastic Assessment Test. The SAT is a multiple-choice, pencil-paper year created and administered by the College Board.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝟏 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝟐?

🔑 The SAT 1 is now known as Scholastic Assessment Test, and the SAT 2 is referred to as the SAT Subject Tests.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝟏 𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝟐?

🔑 The SAT 1 is the standard SAT test format , which you will need to take for most college applications. On the other hand, the SAT 2 , Subject tests, are college admissions exams on specific subjects that might or might not be required, depending on where you plan to apply.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐀𝐓?

🔑 There are two SAT sections:
🔹 Math
🔹 Evidence-Based Reading and Writing
🔹Optional Essay section

🔑 The SAT is 3 hours long. If you choose to take the SAT with Essay, the test will be 3 hours and 50 minutes.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭?

🔑 There are 20 Subject Tests in five general subject areas: English, History, Languages, Mathematics, and Science.

🔑 Each Subject Test is an hour long. They are multiple-choice and scored on a 200-800 scale.

🔑 Subject Tests test you on your knowledge of subjects on a high school level.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐀𝐓?

🔑 SAT registration deadlines fall approximately five weeks before each test date. Register on the College Board website. The College Board may require SAT registration by mail under special circumstances.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐀𝐓?

🔑 The SAT is an admission test accepted by all U.S. colleges, and the College Board has programs to encourage all students to take advantage of higher education. Income-eligible SAT takers receive college application fee waivers and all students can opt in to Student Search Service to receive free information about admission and financial aid from colleges, universities, and scholarship programs.
