A simple, hearty pasta dish featuring tender macaroni, savory ground beef, and a rich tomato sauce, topped with melted cheese. A family favorite thatβs quick and satisfying! π
Ingredients:
β’ 12 ounces elbow macaroni (or any short pasta) π
β’ 1 tablespoon olive oil π«
β’ 1 pound ground beef π₯©
β’ 1 small onion, diced π§
β’ 2 garlic cloves, minced π§
β’ 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce π
β’ 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained π
β’ 1 tablespoon tomato paste π
β’ 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning πΏ
β’ 1/2 teaspoon paprika πΆοΈ
β’ 1/2 teaspoon sugar (optional) π¬
β’ Salt and black pepper to taste π§
β’ 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese π§
β’ 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese π§
β’ 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish) πΏ
Directions:
β’ Cook the macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside. ππ§
β’ In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess grease. π₯©β¨
β’ Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant. π§
