Some Idioms about Sleep&Dream.
Toss and turn in bed. ( change positions when you can not sleep). EX: I was tossing and turning all the night. I finally fell asleep at down.
Have a lie in.( To sleep longer in the morning). EX: we always have a lie in on weekends. I never get up before noon).
Not sleep a wink. ( To spend a sleepless night). EX: I'm fatigued; I did not sleep a wink last night).
Sleep-deprived.( To suffer from a lack of sleep). EX: John is a sleep-deprived person who dozes off pretty much anywhere.
Have/take a nap. ( a short sleep of half hour to an hour during the day, usually after lunch. EX: I used to take a nap everyday.
Turn in for the night. (when yoh turn in for the night, tben go to bed). EX: Tomorrow I have an exam, so I'll turn in for the night. Have a nice dream.
