SPOT & FORWARD on EU Elections: Mr. Christos Floros – DP - Demokratesch Partei

To reflect on what is currently taking place in Europe and what potentially lies ahead for the financial sector, LFMA was delighted that five of Luxembourg’s candidates in the European Parliament elections accepted the opportunity to take their campaigning to our members through our regular ‘Spot & Forward’ series of interviews.
The EU is split over the Commission’s proposal to issue European defence bonds, similar to covid bonds, to pay for aid to Ukraine. Do you see the covid bonds as a ‘one-off’, as some EU members insist? Or should European bonds be used to boost capital investment, as others propose?
In the context of the financial sector do you see Artificial Intelligence as a threat or an opportunity?

With national elections looming end of this week, LFMA took the opportunity to use its digital platform SPOT & FORWARD to interview politicians to get their views on the financial industry.
