Safeguarding Global Stability: Mobilize NATO Defence Now!

My personal insights from the event.
In the first half we heard that Military still seeks to create capabilities that industry is not able to fulfill. Many ideas take too long and those cost too much. On another hand Ukrainians fight with Hand Made weapons as every gun is important and they need that right now! As a Revolution/Evolution Drone systems where identified and I can also acknowledge that this topic among New Startups is on Fire. Every speaker probably noted that Cooperation is so important and the truth is that if there is no defense industry in the country – there is no defense. The feeling is that we all are doing not enough was mentioned in different forms and situation where ammunition production is still struggling shows that there is still a lot space for cooperation between governments and industry.
I personally appreciate the passion and energy of Lithuanian Startups (Aktyvus photonics, RSI Europe) as they showed by example how with not much military knowledge but huge hart and willingness you can in a short term create technology that saves lives and can make the difference.
We could hear sad truth that even now not everyone understands what russia really is. Common minded experts showed us the hole system of aggressor’s military industry transformation, structures, new capabilities coming into units and clearly noted – they think there is no any price for the victory. This means our transformation and cross border cooperation needs to be fast, accurate, effective, standard based.
It was noted that here on Lithuanian land we will have a huge power: German Brigade, together with LTU forces, USA troops and allies there is a clear task – stand at fight until support will arrive. And here Military Mobility comes as an important priority to every government starting from GER, POL, LTU, LV, EE, FIN and everywhere else.
Mobilization was a separate topic and every agrees that our countries forgot what it is and why it is so important. Resistance and preparedness to implement mobilization needs a lot of efforts and practice. First one should start from Political mobilization, move to Economical, Military and even Social Mobilization. Here every person, company, unit finds its place and Defense industry might stand in the first place.
With all that said I would like to thank organizers and speakers, who shared a lot of correct insights and ideas that lead to better understanding the Geopolitical Dynamics and brings us to find more effective ways to cooperate and seek for the real Public Private Partnership.
