Sometimes I ask myself questions that don’t have comfortable answers.

What would happen to us if a global war truly began?

Not the war itself. But us. The ones living quietly. The ones taking treatment every day. The ones whose survival depends on systems we did not build, but trust.

I live with HIV. My medication is not optional. It is part of my life. And I would be lying if I said I have never felt fear about the possibilities.

What if global systems are disrupted?

What if organizations like the World Health Organization or global HIV programs are affected?

What if supply chains slow down?

What if the future becomes less predictable?

These are not ungrateful thoughts. They are human thoughts.

But I also ground myself in truth.

HIV treatment systems did not appear overnight. They were built over decades. Countries like Lesotho have clinics, healthcare workers, and national programs that exist to protect continuity of care. These systems do not simply disappear because of fear.

And more importantly, we are not powerless inside our own lives.

We survive by continuing.

We survive by staying informed.

We survive by staying connected to care.

We survive by refusing to disappear inside fear.

Feel Alive Sessions exists because these conversations are real. Because young people living with HIV deserve honesty, not silence. Because fear grows in isolation, but stability grows in understanding.

If you have ever quietly wondered, “Will I be okay?”, I want you to know I have asked that question too.

And the answer we live with is not panic. The answer we live with is presence.

We are still here.

Treatment still exists.

Care still exists.

And our lives are still moving forward, one day at a time.

You know, trying to make a platform for open conversations that doesn't require too much of formal workshops and programmed sessions can be confusing on where to start. We need conversations that are natural and relatable, no heavily programming.

Formal affiliations are required on certain sessions but having a community that is loyal, trusting and can be able to disclose without any worries is rare. Our goal is to have that, our goal is have natural and human feel in our sessions.

We are re-opening our whatsApp community group again. It's intention is to have vast conversations about us, youth. There is no forced communication but seeing your mates vent so easily is inspiring, unity makes us one.

If you are interested to be part of us, feel free to join our whatsApp group.
Your precense in that group is appreciated, you might inspire a research project that needs a total attention at that moment.
