Here’s a drawing I did of a couple of years ago. Most of the time I prefer to pick portrait poses that are slightly turned or 3/4 view but sometimes a head on view is just perfect for focusing on the eyes of the subject.

This sketch was done in graphite & white charcoal on toned strathmore paper. Its 11" x 14" the background is col erase terra cotta.
