To those who think my life is a debate: Read this once, because I won’t be saying it again.

I’ve noticed a pattern lately. There’s a segment of people who wake up every day looking for a fight. They throw out homophobia like bait, waiting for me—or people like me—to jump into the comments, get defensive, and start "explaining" why we deserve to exist or why we live the way we do.

Here is the reality: I am officially resigning from the Great Debate.
If you think your homophobia is going to trigger a long-winded paragraph from me defending my "lifestyle," you’re mistaken. I don’t owe you an explanation for my happiness, and I certainly don’t need your permission to be who I am. My "gayness" isn't a theory for you to test; it’s my life. I’m too busy living it, enjoying it, and finding peace to spend my energy trying to convert a closed mind.

Let’s be very clear about where the line is drawn:

On Social Media: You can post your opinions, your dislikes, and your noise. I will not be there to argue with you. I will continue living peacefully, breathing the same air, and thriving while you stay angry at a screen. Your words don't move me.

In Reality: The only time I will ever "defend" myself is if you attempt to cause me physical harm. At that point, the conversation ends and survival begins. I don't play with my life or my safety. If you put your hands on me, it isn’t a debate anymore—it’s a matter of who walks away.
I’m not interested in "internet wars." I’m interested in my joy. I’m interested in my community. I’m interested in my peace.

If you hate how I live, that is a weight you have to carry, not me. I’m traveling light. You do your homophobia over there in the corner, and I will be over here living a full, authentic, and quiet life.
I’m done explaining. I’m just living.🥰🙏🏽

Update: I've got a story to tell! 😏 I had someone in my life who thought I was their plaything, their toy to be used and discarded. But little did they know, I was playing a different game altogether. 🤫

They thought they were fooling me, taking me for granted, and using me for their own amusement. But what they didn't realize was that I was right there with them, playing along, and enjoying the ride. 😂

And you know what the best part is? They thought they were sneaking around to see someone else, but really, they were just adding to the drama and entertainment for me.

I've got to give them credit, though - they put on a good show! But in the end, I'm the one who's been enjoying the benefits of their little games. 😏

To anyone who's been in a similar situation, just know that you have the power to turn the tables. Don't let anyone make you feel like a fool - own it, play it cool, and enjoy the ride.
