The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) on Friday raided the Paynesville residence of Liberian artist Bucky Raw after allegations surfaced linking him to drug sales. Officers reported initial resistance before gaining entry, where they allegedly found ma*****na and “loud.” The agency has not yet confirmed whether charges will follow.

Bucky Raw admitted the drugs were his but insisted they were for personal use only. He also claimed officers took L$60,000 from a small bag during the search, an allegation the LDEA has not responded to.

The situation has sparked public interest, with many calling for a fair investigation into both the conduct of the officers and the artist’s claims. Authorities say the case is still under review.
