The CDA Launches 16 Days of Activism

The Cooperative Development Agency (CDA), through the Office of Gender, Youth Promotion, and Development, has officially launched and is actively commemorating the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence under the themes “Towards Beijing +30: UNITE to End Violence Against Women and Girls” and “From Talk to Action: Let’s Join Hands to End Violence Against Women and Girls.”

As part of the activities, CDA staff members have taken the initiative to engage directly with communities, spreading awareness and encouraging action to combat gender-based violence. Meanwhile, the Agency’s leadership is actively observing and supporting these efforts at the office, ensuring a coordinated and impactful approach to this important campaign.

Together, let’s take action to build safer and more equitable communities for all.

CDA through its Program Department Strengthens Cooperatives in Nimba County

The Cooperative Development Agency (CDA) under its International Fund For Agricultural Development (IFAD) Project has completed a successful field mission to Nimba County, assessing and strengthening the capacity of key cooperatives, including Kwakehseh Multipurpose Cooperative Society Inc. and Boe-Kparblee Cocoa Farmer Cooperative.

Under the reform-driven leadership of Hon. Augusta M. Watson, the Program Office has implemented transformative measures to enhance governance, financial management, and sustainability across cooperatives. This mission showcased notable progress in transparency, member empowerment, and operational efficiency, reinforcing the CDA’s commitment to fostering resilient and self-sufficient cooperatives that drive local economic growth.
