๐ Every child has the right to learn! โ๏ธ
In Liberia, many children still face barriers to education-high fees, lack of classrooms, and unsafe school conditions.
This makes it hard for them to enjoy their fundamental right to education.
At Child Shield Initiative (CSI) , we believe quality education should be free and accessible for every child, from pre-primary to secondary school.
Letโs work together to ensure every child can go to school and reach their full potential.
Happy International Womenโs Day!

High graphic warning โ ๏ธ
Liberia wakes up to another tragic and disturbing headline from Mehnla Town, Nimba County. Three innocent children. Mewaseh Giah (6), Marvelous Zainsaye (4), and Alvina Tokpah (2) are gone in a way that shakes the conscience of our nation.
No misunderstanding, no accusation, no argument, whether about witchcraft or family disputes, can ever justify the loss of innocent lives. Children are gifts, not weapons in adult conflicts. They deserve protection, not pain.
This tragedy forces us to reflect deeply as a society.
How do accusations of witchcraft still have the power to destroy families?
How do domestic tensions escalate to irreversible consequences?
Where were the warning signs, and how can communities act faster to prevent such disasters?
As a country, we must confront harmful beliefs, strengthen mental health awareness, and encourage peaceful conflict resolution.
Community leaders, religious institutions, and families must work together to end the cycle of superstition-fueled violence and domestic instability.
Justice must take its course, not out of revenge, but to uphold the rule of law and to send a clear message that the lives of children are sacred and protected under our Constitution.
May the souls of these children rest in peace.
May this tragedy awaken us to protect the vulnerable.
And may Liberia choose healing over hatred, truth over superstition, and law over chaos.
What steps must we now take as a community to ensure something like this never happens again?

FGM is a violation of the rights, dignity, and safety of girls.
It causes lifelong harm and has no place in any society.
At Child Shield Initiative, we believe that culture should never be used to justify violence against children. Protecting girls is a shared responsibility of families, communities, leaders, boys, and men.
Today, we stand with girls everywhere and reaffirm our commitment to speak up, protect, and advocate for a future free from FGM.
Zero tolerance. Protect the girl child.

Child Shield Alert: Please Protect Our Children
Yesterday a tragedy which struck Lower Margibi County. The lifeless body of a six-month-old baby girl, Beatrice Langar, who was reported missing earlier this week, was discovered on January 24, 2026, in an empty room at Barclay Farm.
Authorities confirm the child showed signs of severe abuse. Her father, Lester D. Langar, is now on the run and is the main suspect in this horrifying case.
This heartbreaking incident is a stark reminder of the dangers children face, even in their own homes. Child Shield urges every parent, guardian, and community member to:
Report any suspicious behavior immediately.
Never leave children unattended, even for a moment.
Work with neighbors and authorities to ensure the safety of all children in your community.
We call on the public: If you have information about the suspect or the incident, contact your nearest police station immediately. Your tip could save a childโs life.
Let this tragedy strengthen our commitment to protect every child, everywhere.
Happy international Day of education to all children in Liberia and around the world ๐ฑ๐ท๐
