𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝? 🇱🇷✨

Across four regions in Margibi County, we found the answer: They change the world.

Through our PEER Project SRHR Awareness Sessions, supported by Mundo Cooperante, adolescent peer educators at E.J. Yancy, Bishop Richard West, and Dolo’s Town Public Schools stepped forward with incredible confidence.

These young leaders didn't just listen; they took ownership. They transformed classrooms into safe spaces where:

❌ Myths were challenged and stigma was replaced with truth.
🩸 Menstrual health was linked to holistic well-being and pregnancy prevention.

🗣️ Conversations that were once "difficult" became proud declarations of Menstrual Dignity.

At Yarnwullie Public High School, these educators rose above cultural barriers, leading with boldness and period positivity.

The Impact: Beyond distributing 300 Dignity packages (Pad, tissue, wipe, ubdercloth, soap & panty liner), we invested in something far more lasting: confidence, voice, and self-worth.

On this International Day of the Midwife, we celebrate the lifesaving role midwives play in protecting mothers and newborns.

Midwives are at the heart of efforts to reduce maternal mortality, especially in rural communities. By supporting them, we strengthen care where it’s needed most and move closer to safer births for every mother and child.

Let’s prioritize them today!

The HMNI gents came prepared, but the ladies came fully loaded and READY ready… On the topic “𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩?” the conversation turned into pure debate, with fun and laughter, strong points, and back-and-forth that had the gents trying to balance things, but the ladies were not letting go easily 😂.

At the end of the day, the ladies carried the moment and took the win. Big congratulations to our queens for yesterday’s victory. Truly it was an unforgettable evening of connection and honest dialogue.
