*Position Overview:*
We seek a detail-oriented *Account Assistant* to support our finance department in managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and contributing to smooth business operations.

*Key Responsibilities:*
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions (sales, purchases, expenses).
- Assist in payroll preparation and staff advance tracking.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly financial reports (profit/loss, balance sheets).
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams for billing/queries.
- Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan tax/VAT regulations.
- Support inventory management and cost-tracking for automotive parts.
- Assist in audits and ad-hoc financial tasks.

*Qualifications:*
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–2 years of accounting experience (experience in automotive/retail sectors preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Sri Lankan tax/VAT filing procedures.
- Fluency in Sinhala; working English proficiency.

*Preferred Skills:*
- Experience in inventory or supply chain accounting.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
