දවස පුරාම ඇත්තේ කඩින් කඩ ඇද හැලෙන වර්ෂාවකි. එය විටෙක මද වැස්සක් ලෙසද තවත් විටෙක මහ වැස්සක් බවටද පත්වෙමින් ඇද හැලෙයි. වහලෙන් බේරී වැටෙන වැහිදිය බුබුළු නංවමින් ගලා යන්නේ කුඩා ගංගාවන් පරිද්දෙනි.පෙරදා වට වැස්සෙන් සෑම පහත් බිම් කඩකම කුඩා දියකඩිති සෑදී ඇත. මේ දියකඩිති දුටු විට මා තුළ ඇති ළපටි කෙල්ලට ඉහළුම් නැතිි විය.😀 මම අවුරුදු දහයක දොළහකටත් වඩා පොඩි ළමා කාලයට ගියෙමි. විගස පාට පාට කඩදහි වලින් ඔරු සාදා වත්ත පහලට දිවගියේ තද වැස්සක් ඒමට පෙර දියකඩිත්තේ ඔරු පා කිරීමටයි.නමුදු මද වැස්සක් නොතිබුණාම නොවේ. ඒ මදවැස්ස මා හට ගෙනාවේ අපූරු ප්‍රීතියකි. සවස් යාමයේ සීනි කෙසෙල් ඇවරියක් ගෙන යාමට පැමිණෙන ලෙස නැන්දාගෙන් ඇමතුමකි. මා නැන්දාගේ ගෙදර යන විට වැස්ස පායා තිබුනද එන විට මඟදී වැස්සට හසු විය. වැහි අන්ධකාරය අවට පරිසරය වෙලා ගනිමින් තිබිණි. හමා යන සුළං රැල්ලේ වේගයට ලන්තෑරුමද නිවේ යයි බියෙන් මම පය ඉක්මන් කළෙමි.රාත්‍රියට රොටී කෑමේ අදහස නම් අපේ තාත්තගෙ. අපේ තාත්තා හා රොටී අතර ඇත්තේ අසීමිත බැඳීමකි.🥰 එය තාත්තාගේ ප්‍රියතම කෑමයි.වැස්සේ උණු උණු රොටී කෑමට පවුලේ සැවොම කැමති වූ බැවින් රොටී අපේ රාත්‍රී කෑම වේල විය . සුදු හාල් පිටි රොටී හා ඉතිරිව තිබූ කුරක්කන් පිටිද දමා කුරක්කන් රොටී ද සෑදීමට මම තීරණය කළේ එය ඉතා ගුණවත් ආහාරයක් බැවිනි.හාල් පිටි රොටී වලට ලීක්ස් කැරට් කංකුං කොළ ටිකක්ද දැමුවේ රසවත් බවට වඩා පෝෂණ ගුණය වැඩි කර ගැනීමටයි. ⁣රොටී කෑමට මා සෑදුවේ හතු වෑංජනයකි.කළු පැහැ වන්නට මිරිස් කුඩු ටිකක් බැද ගත්තේ හතු වෑංජනයට ප්‍රියමනාප පැහැයක් ගැන්වීමටයි.තෙලට දැමූ අබ ඇට පුපුරා යන විට තලා ගත් සුදුලූණු, ලුණු, කරපිංචා, රම්පේ හා එනසාල් ,කරාබු නැටි මෙන්ම තුනපහ ද දමා පසුව උණුවතුරෙන් තම්බා ගත් හතු තෙලට දමා වතුර ස්වල්පයක්ද පදමට ලුණුද එක්කර සාදා ගත හතු වෑංජනයට ගෙදර සැමදෙනාගෙන්ම ඉහළම ලකුණු ලැබුණේ මසිත සතුටෙන් පුරවමිනි. නයි කොච්චි කීපයක්ද ගෙන යහමින් ලූනු ටිකක් දමා සැරට සෑදූ කොච්චි ලුණු මිරිසද රොටී කෑමට මනාව ගැලපුණි. මා නම් කොච්චි ලුණු මිරිස් කා රොටී වලට වඩා වතුරෙන් බඩු පුරවා ගත්තෙමි. එය එතරම් සැරය. දවස පුරාම වහින වැස්ස නිසා මගේ එළවළු කොරටුවේ ඇති කොච්චි පැල කීපයක්ම ඉදිරී වැටී ඇත. එහෙත් මලානික වී සිටි කරවිල වැල් කීපයට නම් මේ වැස්ස මහඟු ඔසුවකි.
පසුදාද වැස්සේ නිමාවක් නොවුණි.කවුඩන් හා දෙමළිච්චන් අත්තෙන් අත්තට පනිමින් වැහි බිදු වලින් ⁣බේරීමට කොළ අතර අහු මුළු සොයමින් පියඹා යයි.වැස්සට තෙමී ඇලූණු කුඩා පියාපත් ගසමින් කුරුල්ලන් උණුසුමක් සොයයි. කැදැල්ලක් නොමැති කුරැල්ලන්ට සෙවන සදන්නේ ලොකු තේක්ක කොලය. බොහෝ විට අප කේක් සාදන්නේ නිවසේදීමය.ගෙදර හදන කේක් රසයෙන් හා ගුණයෙන් ඉහළය.මා 🎂වඩාත්ම ආසා කරන්නේ උණු උණු කේක් කෑමට හාකේක් පිච්චෙන විට සුවඳටයි. පලතුරු කැබිලි හා මුද්දරප්පලම් මැනවින් දමා පලතුරු කේක් සැදුවේ දවස් දෙකක් පමණ තබාගෙන කෑමටයි. නමුදු දවස් දෙකක් තියා එක දවසක්වත් තබා ගැනීමට කේක් නම් ඉතුරු වුණේ නැත.

When I saw these waterfalls, the young girl in me lost her temper. 😀 I went back to my childhood, not ten or twelve years old. Immediately, I made a boat out of colorful paper and ran down to the garden to row the canoes in the river before a heavy rain came. But not without a light rain. That light rain brought me great joy. In the evening, I received a call from my aunt to come and take a basket of sugared bananas. It had already started raining when I went to my aunt's house, but on the way, I got caught in the rain. The darkness of the rain was covering the surrounding area. I hurried my feet, fearing that the lantern would also go out due to the speed of the wind. The idea of ​​eating roti for the night was my father's. There is an infinite bond between our father and roti. 🥰 It was my father's favorite food. Since everyone in the family loved to eat hot roti in the rain, roti became our dinner. I decided to make white rice flour roti and leftover kurakkan flour and make kurakkan roti because it is a very nutritious food. I added leeks, carrots, and fenugreek leaves to the rice flour roti to increase its nutritional value rather than making it tasty. I made a mushroom curry to eat with the roti. I fried some chili powder to make it black to give a pleasant color to the mushroom curry. When the mustard seeds in the oil burst, I added crushed garlic, salt, curry, turmeric, cardamom, cloves, and three-five, then added mushrooms boiled in hot water to the oil, added a little water, and salt to taste. The mushroom curry got the highest marks from everyone in the house, filling them with happiness. I also took a few nai kochchi and added some onion. The kochchi, which was made with salt and pepper, went well with the roti. I ate salt and pepper and filled my things with water rather than roti. It was so spicy. Due to the rain that fell all day, several of the kochi plants in my vegetable garden have wilted. But for the few bitter gourd vines that were looking gloomy, this rain was a great medicine.
The next day, the rain did not end. The crows and the tamalichchans jumped from branch to branch, looking for a place to hide among the leaves to save themselves from the raindrops. The birds, flapping their small wings soaked in the rain, sought warmth. The large teak leaves provide shade for the crows that do not have a nest. We often make cakes at home. Homemade cakes are superior in taste and quality. I 🎂 love eating hot cakes the most and the smell of the cake when it is baked. I made fruit cakes by adding fruit pieces and raisins and kept them for about two days. But there was no cake left to keep even for two days.
