Connect To Care

Recap of the stakeholder workshop conducted by Connect To Care together with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation, bringing together key stakeholders from across Sri Lanka’s livestock sector.

The workshop created a collaborative platform for representatives from government ministries, departments, private sector organisations, development agencies, NGOs, and sector experts to collectively review sector priorities and contribute towards shaping the livestock policy and implementation framework for the next five years.

Through structured discussions and consultations, participants identified key policy objectives, strategic priorities, practical interventions, expected outputs, and measurable KPIs — ensuring that the policy formulation process reflects both institutional expertise and the realities experienced within the sector.

The discussions underscored a shared commitment towards building a more resilient, inclusive, sustainable, and productive livestock sector for Sri Lanka.
