We, the Colombo Lotus Tower family, came together to celebrate the Sinhala & Tamil New Year in grand style, embracing the true spirit of togetherness and tradition.

We were honored to have the Chief Guest, Secretary to the Ministry of Digital Economy, Mr. Waruna Sri Dhanapala, along with our Special Guest of Honour, Mr. Rao, Director of Golden Island Hospitality.

Adding further prestige to the occasion, our Chairman – CLTMC, Mr. Shirantha Peries, and Acting CEO/Director – CLTMC, Mr. Samantha Upananda, graced the event, making it a truly memorable evening.

The celebration was warmly welcomed by Mr. Yogeswaran Nirojan, Chairman of the CLTMC Staff Welfare Society, and featured an exciting lineup of traditional games, fun activities, and a vibrant prize-giving ceremony, followed by a delightful dinner.

It was truly a night filled with joy, laughter, and unity — celebrating not just a festival, but the spirit of one family.

We were delighted to welcome Kieran Read, former captain of the New Zealand rugby team, to the iconic Colombo Lotus Tower on 30.04.2026 🇳🇿🇱🇰

Kieran experienced the breathtaking panoramic skyline of Colombo from our observation deck, taking in the vibrant city from above. He also explored the immersive PixelBloom Digital Art Museum, enjoying its cutting-edge visual experiences.

To complete his visit, he stopped by the CLC Souvenir Shop, picking up some special mementos to remember his time at the Tower.

It was truly an honor to host a global sports icon at Colombo’s most iconic landmark. We look forward to welcoming him again! 🌆✨
