🏆 Techtronknights is beyond proud to celebrate Imani A, a Form 1 student at Micoud Secondary School, who has been awarded the YouthMADE Amplify Grant 2026 by Digital Promise AND recognised for Best Use of Technology for Community & Culture Preservation! 🇱🇨🎉

Imani's project, L'Héritage Nou (Our Heritage), is a student-led digital archive dedicated to preserving Saint Lucia's Kwéyòl oral history and elder voices before those stories are lost forever. He is interviewing 10 elders across Saint Lucia, producing a podcast series, a bilingual e-book, and a permanent free public website, so every Saint Lucian child can access their heritage with a single scan. 🎙️📖🌐

Imani is mentored by Miranda George-Arthur of Techtronknights, where he is learning graphic design, audio production, photography, and interviewing skills to bring this vision to life. This project will be supported and sponsored in part by Techtronknights and its founder, and is fiscally supported by Micoud Secondary School.

This recognition touches close to home for us. Our Founder, Miranda George-Arthur, is a proud alumna of Micoud Secondary School, Class of 2005. To watch a student from her own alma mater win an international grant and a Digital Promise award is a moment she will never forget.

We also want to extend warm congratulations to Ziyana I., another Micoud Secondary student and YouthMADE Amplify Grant 2026 winner, for her project Project Green Reach, a solar-powered vertical farm for the school canteen, mentored by Ms. Shera Charles, Miranda's own Class of 2005 homeroom classmate, now an Agriculture Teacher at their alma mater. Two grants. One school. Saint Lucia, take note. 🙏🏾
