I am deeply saddened by the passing of Ms. Lissa Joseph, a remarkable woman I was honoured to call a friend. To say that Lissa was one of the best among us would be an understatement. Saint Lucia has lost a consummate professional and a leader at the pinnacle of her field. Her legacy of excellence, integrity and service will not be forgotten. She will be deeply missed.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
