Making this on-demand piece was no easy feat. Several ideas came to mind, but I needed to match the style and taste of the person to be gifted. Also, since it was a new shape and color, every step was an exploration, even the glazing. See my next posts to find out how it will turn out 🙌💙

After last year's fair was postponed due to the unfolding events, I was wondering if the Bkerzay Pottery fair would take place this year. Thankfully it did and here I was at my first fair.
A lot of preparation went into it on all sides and I feel joyful to have been there. I am thankful to have met lovely potters who share the same passion. It was enriching to show my work to new faces who appreciate pottery and to receive their valuable feedback. Knowing that my work resonated with them creates a joy in my heart, a joy that I offer to all those who supported me and still do from friends and colleagues in particular those who made it all the way to Bkerzay to show their love, my beloved teachers especially Nathalie Khayyat and Graham Stevenson, and my dear family especially my sister who accompanied me to the fair and was by my side. After my doubts about participating, I am truly glad I did so.
Thank you Maha and Zeina and the entire Bkerzay team for pulling it together and reviving a cultural event that spreads so much hope.
