While the world around her was in chaos, Jana found a different world to live in.
"Everyone around me was repeating the same words about the war. My books were my only escape; they helped me manage my emotions and organize my thoughts."

In just one month, Jana finished all seven parts of the Kingdom of Rhetoric series. These stories are about courage and patience, and Jana says she found exactly what she was missing within their pages.
Our librarian, Fatima, presented Jana with a special award today to celebrate this achievement.
"Jana was in the library every single day to return a book and take another. It was amazing to see her focus so deeply despite everything happening outside. She is a role model for all of us."
