Borrowing a Slow and Healing Moment from the Island. In the everlasting summer of Hainan, the island sways in the leisurely sunlight, and the breeze from the bay brushes against the shore, passing through various shades of tropical greens.

combined a contemporary architectural language of minimalist sophistication with a spiritual sensibility inspired by Hainan's vernacular heritage and slow living island lifestyle. Thoroughly modern in aesthetic, the building complex is composed of three interconnected, glass-wrapped pavilions with swooping rooflines that echo the construction of local fishing boats.

the project was supposed to be a 20-day temporary installation to celebrate the eighth anniversary of Taikoo Li, an open, low-density neighborhood-form shopping mall, Roarc Renew designed it as a foundationless building, defining it as a "time-limited building" practice.

UPDATED : we have reached 3,917,805 origami hearts and officially hold Guinness World Records.
