Bonny, our Technical guru servicing Gearbox Valve board of a relatively new Suzuki Swift this morning. The car had lost power and was jerking when changing gears. The lady owner had been referred to us by her friend who was satisfied with our services when we worked on his new Harrier which had a similar problem.
We have noted with concern that this problem is very prevalent with the new cars. Unfortunately many motorists are duped into replacing the entire gearboxes when all that is required is just to service the Valve board to eliminate the oil sludge build-up.
