Not every scammer is acting by choice.

Across the world, thousands of people are being trafficked into scam compounds, where they are forced to carry out online fraud under threats, violence, and coercion.

This growing form of human trafficking fuels cybercrime, financial fraud, money laundering, and corruption while exploiting vulnerable people for criminal gain.

As we begin our World Day Against Trafficking in Persons 2026 campaign, we stand with survivors and call for stronger action to dismantle the criminal networks behind this exploitation.
