🌾💧 Empowering Communities with Digital Solutions!

In Ikwo, Ebonyi State 🇳🇬, rice farmers are teaming up with the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) to co-create a digital solution for water use management—tackling climate change challenges head-on! 🌍💡

This innovation is made possible through seed funding from ICIPE - International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology and its partners via the project, sponsored by the European Union 🇪🇺 and the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS Secretariat - Secrétariat OEACP).

During a recent field visit, farmers showcased the appropriate technology in action to Dr. Jonas Mugabe (AGriDI Project Manager), Dr. Michael Kidoido (icipe Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist), and the UNN team led by Prof. Anthonia Acheke. 👏🏽🌱
