At Corteva Agriscience, we’re proud to support incredible women like Bezawit Lemma, an accountant with Corteva Ethiopia, who embodies the drive for change and empowerment. Her journey is a true testament to resilience and advocacy:
"As a 25-year-old accountant in a multinational company, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with diverse teams and experience a reality where I was treated with attention, appreciation, and care, regardless of my gender. Growing up in a male-dominated family shaped my perspective, allowing me to navigate gender biases with confidence."
Throughout her career, Bezawit has faced moments where her gender led to questions about whether she was taken seriously. But with the resilience she developed growing up, she’s overcome those barriers and is now focused on advocating for gender equality. Today, she actively creates spaces for women to collaborate, share experiences, and support one another in their professional journeys.
She passionately believes that we can accelerate action for gender equality by promoting equal compensation, eliminating unconscious bias, and ensuring equal opportunities for career growth. Her vision is a world where women are never left behind—empowered by networks that uplift them.
Bezawit’s story is inspired by the perseverance of women before her and the new generation of women who are already challenging norms and breaking barriers. 💪
Let’s join together and continue to push forward for a future where every woman has the opportunity to succeed.

At Corteva Agriscience, safety is at the heart of everything we do. Through our Partnering to Protect initiative, we work closely with our suppliers to enhance safety standards, improve workplace conditions, and ensure best practices in agricultural operations.
After a successful rollout in South Africa, we are proud to bring this critical initiative to Zambia, reinforcing our commitment to protecting people, the environment, and communities. By collaborating with suppliers, we create a safer, more sustainable agricultural sector, ensuring that safety remains a top priority at every stage of the supply chain.
Together, we are building a culture of safety, responsibility, and innovation. Stronger partnerships mean a safer future for all!

Earlier this month we celebrated International Women's Day, beyond the day, we’re proud to feature the incredible women within our business who embody the theme "Accelerate Action" every day. Meet one of our own, Revonne Govender, who exemplifies what it means to drive change, overcome challenges, and make an impact. 💪
As a young female in the agriculture industry, she has faced and overcome barriers, using her people skills and confidence to navigate through cultural, language, and industry dynamics. She’s continuously working to accelerate change in her community and industry through her active involvement in an Inclusion and Belonging project.
Her advice: “Be bold enough to talk about challenges and how we can overcome them. When we share our journeys and experiences, it builds a sense of community and comfort.”
Inspired by her own personal growth, she continues to push forward with self-awareness and accountability, embracing every challenge with grace and resilience.
Let’s keep accelerating action for gender equality, together. 💜
