"Blessed is the man who trust in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit." (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

When we trust in God we are comparable to a tree planted by the river. Our vantage point is the unique location. Though we go through tough conditions we are unfazed. We are assured of constant, sufficient supply of our needs from God.

When we don't trust God, we are affected by the prevailing conditions. We are bombarded by numerous uncertainties that fill our hearts with worry. "Cursed is a man who trusts in man and makes flesh his arm, whose heart turns away from the Lord. He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt"

Thus far the Lord has brought us, he's is EBENEZER!
