Once the design is done and approvals are sought-after, the construction works can kick off. Here, the project comes to life, and we try to deal with design issues comprehensively on paper so that building your dream is a breeze.
We are currently conducting construction supervision of a modern townhouse on 3 levels in Runda. Formwork for the first floor is ongoing, and its exciting to see it come together.

It is important for a developer/client to retain an architect beyond the design stage and into construction supervision.
An architect who has been involved in the design stage will have a deeper understanding of the project's vision and design intent. This ensures continuity and consistency throughout the project, from the design phase through to construction, resulting in a cohesive, well-executed final product.
More often than not, it results in a successful project that is built on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality. By leveraging the architect's expertise in problem-solving, quality control, cost control, and time control, the developer/client can ensure that the project meets their needs and aspirations.

We worked on a proposed apartment building design on a 50ft by 80ft plot for a client in Ishiara, a growing town in Embu County. (See Layout Attached)
The need was to put up a development that can run as a residential or could be let out for accommodation and compete with the hotels around (BNB), hence the preference of 1br and bedsitter units.
