Stop the greed,stop the looting stop the tribalism,stop the lies,stop the poor management of our resources,stop piecemeal development in the wards,stop patronising the county assembly,stop interfering in community leadership structures,stop poor leadership,

'They asked me to comment on the discrepancy between the empowerment of boy child versus girl child and I asked: on a typical evening in most families what is happening? The daughters are home with their mothers being coached about life and how to run a home. But the sons? They're just scattered anywhere and the fathers are in their caves: clubs, football dens, hotels and 'meetings.'
If this happens 365 days, one year, ten years, twenty years and then the daughters and the sons are now adults, what is the cumulative effect? The daughter is taught and grounded, while the son is scattered and confused. How do you expect this kind of son to compete with this kind of daughter in the real world?
The solution then is simple. As a man once you come from work go home. Don't go to the club or the fellowship or the meeting. Go home. Go spend the evening with your children. It's those moments that make life. Of course you will occasionally go attend to those other matters, but your daily routine should be going home after work.
A lot of us men confuse parenting with heroic acts, yet parenting simply means befriending your children and mentoring them through day to day life. If your children can say 'my daddy is my buddy, my inspiration,' you've won the game of parenting.

REFUSE REJECT AND REPOSSES YOUR ABILITY TO DECIDE
Lotiki area in Burat ward contributes a huge percentage of revenue generated in isiolo county,in a month more that 700 lorries carry sand fo building to Isiolo,Meru and Laikipia counties and each lorry pays cess worth KSHS.2500/- per trip.This translates to KSHS.1,750,000.00 per month to the coffers of the county government,but since independence lotiki and other areas of Burat ward have not experienced development ,each year it's promises above promises that roads,schools,health and social amenities will be fixed,it's stories of "yes we have factored the improvement of roads in the current budget but it has been removed due to pending bills and the MCA has no clue of how to make sure that the designated money is utilized for the intended purpose.This our resource and we have to benefit from it Therefore the residents of lotiki in Burat ward of isiolo county have issued a decree that Isiolo county should not collect any revenue from this lorries.If they want to collect they have to first account for all the money that they have collected from lotiki area and how it was utilized.without that "STOP COLLECTING SAND CESS"from lorries.A clear picture is emerging that the design of "UNYANYASAJI" was deliberated and effected in our ward.REFUSE REJECT AND REPOSSES OUR RIGHT TO DECIDE IN ISIOLO CPUNTY

This are just some of the issues that we raised over the years,today it's almost four years down the road and nothing has come and been dispensed with-

1- Isiolo market was brought down, the "wafanyi biashara" were moved to Baraza park and half of it was taken away by a known person, todate the construction of the market is 50%,the contractor does his job on piecemeal as he wants.Informationat hand is that the government has already paid 70% of the 340 million to completion

2- Isiolo stadium- Four years down the road the stadium still looks like a broken pot,construction is nit ongoing,I have observed that also the contractor does his job on a pro rota system,
3 -Isiolo wabera primary school playing ground is now a highway since the perimeter wall collapsed in October,as far as we know it,it's the responsibility of the CDF to repair,it's mute from the MP
4. isiolo badan shiida, sericho environs and all the land under the new mines discovery, given to a private mining company without due considerations to the peasants who have been making a living on the said land through small scale mining. Without involving the community for any consultation with the affected community.

5-Isiolo abattoir- last year we had been told that the abattoir will be ready and operational by February 2021,the whole of the NFD is eagerly awaiting this flag ship project that has so far "eaten"KSHS.1billion and it looks like it will "eat",to help with the offtake and export of meat and it's products,looks like we shall have to give it another 5 years to completion
6.The isiolo county assembly chambers.This is a project that was never discussed with the people of Isiolo county,the speaker without consultation pulled down the former chambers and started to build a new one at a cost to the county at large,this is a waste of public resources.
6.The construction of the Governors Ofice.The former Governor had undertaken to build the seat of power away from the town but it looks like the current governor has completely shunned what he had done and made it his sole purpose to rebuild and rebrand isiolo county.This so far has not been completed just like the others.
It's imperative to note that all of this projects should not have taken place at the same time,they should have been staggered and alot more to have been taken to service delivery.
We have been asking questions and will continue to ask questions on other projects that were undertaken by the current county government and find a conclusion.Issue of pending bills is still plaguing this county government and till today it's pulling us back.
Question,ask and get answers,that's our responsibility as a voter ,

THE ROLE OF THE THE MCA,MPs,WOMEN REPS,SENATORS GOVERNORS,IN BBI
A very wrong perception is being created by the proponents of BBI that the all important decision of making sure that BBI passes in the county assemblies lies solely on MCAs,MPs,Women Reps,Senators and Governors,what a wrong idea,It's not the work of the these elected leadersto convince anybody to vote yes or no to BBI. They should facilitate the dissemination of the information regarding the BBI document nothing more nothing less.this is the role of the this elected leaders-inform the voters about the document and then"LISTEN"to what the voter will tell them to do with their vote.The proponents of the BBI want to remove the all important role that voters will play on this plebiscite and concentrate on peace meal corruption of promising MCAs car grants and funny monies.The spirit of the Kenyan constitution passed in 2010 gave the voter the major role of decision making "RESERVED"for the voters.That right is enshrined in this constitution and should not be abused by the proponents and opposers of this document.Its not the role of the MCA's to come to to ask for you to vote but seek counsel from you,in-fact if they come to convince you about voting for it or not,there's no way they can take that responsibility from us the voters ,just chase them out of your ofice(home),how can an employee come to direct you on what to do,how can an employee come to tell you what to do while he knows what he is asking you to do will surely sink and destroy you. Reclaim the role and worth of your voters card by taking the role of decision making from this corrupt and inefficient voting robots,let's do our civic duty
