Embu ni Yetu
Chief Justice Martha Koome has commissioned a dedicated Alternative Justice System (AJS) suite at the Embu Law Courts to facilitate community-led mediation through elders and church leaders.
Following the launch, the Chief Justice proceeded to the University of Embu grounds, the host venue for the continental AJS Conference. Addressing participants on the event's peak day, CJ Koome was joined by 12 Chief Justices from various African nations and several retired judges. The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Embu, Prof. Daniel Mugendi, was also in attendance, welcoming delegates to the landmark event focused on traditional conflict resolution.

During the burial of Mzee Donald Njeru Njoka at Kithegi yesterday, incoming Senator Simon Nyaga Kombo was among the local leaders and congregants who gathered to pay their final respects. Speaking to the mourners, the incoming Senator expressed his deepest condolences to the family, describing the late Mzee Njoka as a pillar of wisdom whose presence will be deeply missed within the community.

Earlier yesterday, Simon Nyaga Kombo, an aspirant for the senatorial seat, attended a function at the Episcopal Church in Kianjokoma where he worshipped with the faithfuls and assisted in buying floor tiles.
