We are the lucky ones

Born in poverty
Food , clothing and shelter inadequate
Drought,crimes and fatal earthquake
Regardless of them all we still survived
With alot of strength we rose
Like antelope in the desert
We increasingly multiplied
And for sure we will never die
We are undefeated
We are the luck ones I say
God on our side we are born to shine.

Bare foot school we went
No food few times we ate
Torn clothes , bathing plain without soap
Thanks to God we made it to the top
Cold weather we survived
No illness they were just signs
Sometimes I wonder what more than a tithe
To really thank God for life
That's why I wanna keep singing
Like a mountain,am eternal
I am the lucky one.🙏🙏
