IRGC Claims Missile Fired at U.S. F-16

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims its air defense forces launched a surface-to-air missile at a U.S. Air Force F-16 operating over the Persian Gulf.

According to the statement, the aircraft was not shot down, but the missile launch reportedly forced the fighter jet to alter its flight path and leave the area.

The claim comes as Iran continues efforts to challenge U.S. air operations despite recent strikes that reportedly damaged multiple Iranian radar and air defense sites.

Iran Deploys Coastal Missile Batteries Along Strait of Hormuz

Reports indicate that Iran has begun deploying additional coastal anti-ship missile systems along large sections of the Strait of Hormuz.
