We particularly welcome contributions focusing on one or more of the following areas:

Application of one or more components of the Global Competence Framework in international business settings

Enhancing cross-cultural leadership through the Global Competence Framework

Promoting ethical global citizenship and sustainable practices through the Global Competence Framework

Project timeline:
April 16–May 1, 2026: Call for proposals open for additional chapters
May 15, 2026: Notification of conditional acceptance
June 1–October 31, 2026: Writing of first drafts
October 31, 2026: First draft deadline (strict)
November 1–December 31, 2026: Chapter review period by the editors
December 31, 2026: First round of feedback to authors
January 1–January 31, 2027: First round of revisions
January 31, 2027: Second draft deadline (strict)
February 1–February 28, 2027: Second round of feedback to authors
March 1–March 20, 2027: Final revisions
March 20, 2027: Final manuscript due to the editors (strict)
April 1, 2027: Submission of the book to the publisher
