This year at Spring Sessions:
Asuncion Molinos Gordo is an artist that lives and works between Egypt, Oman and Spain. She employs installation, photography, video, sound and other media to examine the invisible and marginalized rural realm. She has produced work reflecting on land usage, nomad architecture, farmers strikes, bureaucracy on territory, transformation of rural labour, biotechnology and the global food trade. Asunción will be joining participants of the Spring Sessions in March.

أسونسيون مولينوس-جوردو فنانة تعيش وتعمل ما بين مصر، عُمان واسبانيا. تستخدم أسونسيون التركيب، والتصوير، والفيديو، والصوت ووسائل اخرى لدراسة العالم الريفي اللامرئي والمهمش. انتجت اعمالا تسلط الضوء على مواضيع متعددة منها استخدامات الارض، العمارة الرحّالة، واضرابات المزارعين، وتحولات العمالة الريفية، والتكنولوجيا البيولوجية وتجارة الغذاء العالمية. ستشارك أسونسيون في برنامج “جلسات الربيع” في شهر آذار/مارس.
