It’s an indescribable feeling to be experiencing grief, holding space for others that are grieving, and attempting to celebrate yourself at the same time…
Yesterday I was officially given full reign of the house and my property. The town approved the repairs, I signed my life away… it’s official official.
I kept getting asked if I was excited and I honestly feel like Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights when he doesn’t know what to do with his hands in the interview 😅
This week in general doesn’t feel like reality. Not Bubba’s death, not my new address, none of it. I’m sure it’ll all hit soon and at some point I’ll want to celebrate. For now though, I’m okay in whatever this space and feeling is 🤷🏾♀️

Went to check on repairs being done at my house this morning and was incredibly surprised to learn that the seller helped out 😳 She’s 93 and was a long term owner. She said she wasn’t aware of certain standard changes over the years and wanted to make sure everything was good for me 😩🥹
It’s so surreal and starting to sink in that I get to move into my own house for my birthday 🤯😭🥳
