Why is it important for medical students to have Goethe's certificate?
Eterna Language Centre specifies some reasons why medical students may choose to take the Goethe exam:

1. International recognition: The Goethe exam is recognized by universities and employers worldwide. This makes it a valuable addition to a medical student's resume, especially if they plan to pursue further studies or work in a German-speaking country.

2. Improved language skills: Medical students who take the Goethe exam will have the opportunity to improve their proficiency in the German language. This will enable them to communicate more effectively with German-speaking patients and colleagues, as well as to access German-language medical resources.

3. Cultural understanding: Understanding German culture and society can be important for medical professionals who may encounter German-speaking patients and colleagues in their work. Taking the Goethe exam can help medical students develop a greater understanding of German culture and society.

4. Professional development: The process of preparing for and taking the Goethe exam can be a valuable learning experience for medical students. It may give them the chance to develop study skills and self-discipline, as well as to gain a sense of achievement and confidence.

Lawyers, interested in TOLES exam?
Eterna language center starts TOLES preparation course from May 2 for lawyers.
Registration closes on 25 April, 2023.

The Test of Legal English Skills (TOLES) is a series of practical and profession-led English examinations for lawyers and law students. The TOLES exams are issued by Global Legal English, who are members of the International Division of the Law Society of England and Wales. The TOLES exams are designed to be vocational legal English exams rather than exams written by or intended for academics.[1] The TOLES exams are not formally placed on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages as the legal content of the exam is too high for them to be seen as purely English language exams.
