My friends! How are you doing? A long time passed since we all took a holiday and many of us have experienced hard times and losses. This post is not to suggest, as I always do, good places to eat or to enjoy in my beloved Roma, but just to say thank you.
Some of you sent me this new thing, a postcard from Airbnb, to tell me their love and ask me how I am. I am profoundly touched when I understand that you truly remember me and the good experiences you had here.

Wow!! I never thought, when I begun writing here, that so many people would have liked and followed my local tips about Roma. I love my city and I am very happy to share it with all of you! Thank you a thousand times for traveling and discovering the world! In this historical period of division and fear let’s keep crossing borders and enjoy and defend the beauty of every different country/mentality/nature/human being.

Le Levain.
Wowowow!!! I just bumped into this ptisserie/brasserie in old Trastevere neighborhood and felt in love. A lot of people keep asking me for a good breakfast...well don’t look further. Le Levain daily bakes amazing salty and sweet delicacies. From the croissants to the sandwiches everything is fresh and delicious. The self service coffee machine makes a marvelous espresso from coffee grains. The only low side is that you can use the high tables to eat but there are no chairs or stools.
Le Levain is in Via Luigi Santini, very close to my Un Amore apartment and to San Cosimato square. Here their website:
