SWIRL IS A FLOWER BLOSSOMING ON A RUG REVEALED THROUGH CROCHET WORK, DYED IN DELICATE SHADES THAT SUBTLY PROGRESS IN A GRADIENT, DRAWING VOLUPTUOUS SHAPES OF COLOURED PETALS.
Approaching the project as architects, rather than craftsmen or visual artists, Univers Uchronia considered a rug not just as a pictorial plane from which to project an image but worked on how it is constructed emphasizing the inherent values of its materials, interpreted in a 3D manner.
