Ghogha has been active in music professionally since 2016, and her songs condemn social suffering caused by war, religious fanaticism, and the plight of women and girls. Many of her songs, set to the poetry of Ramin Mazar, have become anthems of resistance for progressive Afghan youth. One of her most famous songs, "I Kiss You Among the Taliban, You’re Not Afraid", with lyrics by Ramin Mazar, stands out as a symbol of defiance.

In 2021, she was named among the 100 most influential and inspiring women by the BBC.
