The training focused on practical skills related to the preparation of nutritious millet and soya-based products, quality control, packaging, branding, value addition, and market opportunities. Participants gained hands-on experience in processing techniques that can help them establish micro-enterprises and enhance household incomes.

The programme aimed to promote nutrition-sensitive livelihoods while creating sustainable income-generating opportunities for rural women. Through demonstrations and practical sessions, participants explored various product innovations and business possibilities based on locally available resources.

NIRDPR continues to support women-led enterprises and livelihood diversification through skill development and entrepreneurship promotion initiatives.
