The Butterfly Effect.
Oftentimes, the smallest of actions we commit can unintentionally gather force and momentum given time, and assume permanence as habit patterns.
Deeply embedded within our psyche and even bodies, they may be difficult to wean off from, particularly if ingrained with intentional unconsciousness at the time of perpetration.
It therefore becomes the duty of each human being, once aware of their conditioning, to slice through the thicket of gross negativity which has found residence within themselves.
One step in the right direction is to engage in mindful movement and breathing accompanied by the robust philosophical and moral labyrinth which the system of Yoga provides.

One of my most favourite ways which evoke the urgency of the inner journey is to reflect on the possibility, immediacy and reality of death. It happens to all of us, yet we live our lives as if oblivious to it.
To be touched by the presence of death is to become alive to the possibility of awakening.
