Sufyan Waheed Sohil, S/O Abdul Waheed Sohil R/O Ramsoo a talented young fencing athlete from District Ramban, is once again set to represent India at the Fencing World Cup in Fujairah, UAE, from January 9th to 12th, 2026. With over 50 countries participating, this is Sufyan's 5th time representing the country at the world level.

- Represented India at the World University Games (July 2025)
- Won 8 National Medals (2025-26)
- Two Silver Medal, 38th National Games
- One Silver one Bronze Medal, 36th National Championship
- One Gold and one Silver Medal, Khelo India University Games.
This achievement is a huge milestone for Jammu and Kashmir, especially District Ramban. At just 19 years old, Sufyan is competing in the Senior category and has established himself as one of the top athletes of J&K. Currently in Cuttack, Orissa, Sufyan will travel to Dubai via New Delhi on January 8th. He's an inspiration to many young athletes.
