250g Amul Khoa (Mawa)
1/2 cup Powdered Sugar adjust to your sweetness preferences
1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder Elaichi Powder
A pinch of Nutmeg Powder optional, but highly recommended
1 tbsp Ghee clarified butter
Chopped nuts for garnish almonds, pistachioso ptional

1)Prepare the Khoa Grate the Amul Khoa or crumble it finely. This will help it melt evenly
2)Roast the Khoa Heat a non-stick pan on medium-low heat. Add the ghee. Once melted, add the crumbled Amul Khoa to the pan
Stir continuously for about 5-7 minutes until the khoa starts to melt, becomes soft, and releases a beautiful aroma. Be careful not to over-roast it, or it will become grainy. It should form a smooth, soft mass.
3)Add Sweetness and Spice Remove the pan from the heat. Let the khoa cool down slightly for a couple of minutes. Then, add the powdered sugar, cardamom powder, and nutmeg powder
Mix everything thoroughly until the sugar is well incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
4)Cool Down Transfer the mixture to a plate and let it cool completely. Once cool, it will firm up slightly and be easier to handle
5) Shape the Modaks Grease your modak mold lightly with ghee. Take a small portion of the cooled khoa mixture and press it firmly into the mold. Make sure to fill all the crevices to get a perfect shape
Carefully open the mold and gently release your beautifully shaped modak. Repeat with the remaining mixture
6) Garnish and Serve Arrange your Amul Khoa Mawa Modaks on a serving plate. Garnish with chopped nuts if desired
