Partnering with Zee Media, we took on the massive challenge of rebranding not just one, but three flagship news channels—Zee News, Zee Business, and Zee Bharat. This transformation wasn’t just about a new look; it was about setting a new standard. The goal was clear: declutter the chaos, re-establish visual leadership, and design a news experience that resonates with today’s viewers. From redefining the brand architecture to creating a system that worked seamlessly across digital and broadcast, every element was meticulously crafted to bring clarity, impact, and modernity to Hindi news.

The result? A bold new identity that reinstates Zee as a powerhouse in news broadcasting, with a design language that speaks to the next generation of viewers—dynamic, intuitive, and unmistakably Zee. (1/3)

Translating this vision into a working, real-time broadcast system was no small feat. The entire design system had to be implemented seamlessly on VizRT, a powerful graphics software widely used in news broadcasting. This meant ensuring not just aesthetic precision but also technical efficiency—building dynamic, real-time graphics that could adapt to the fast-paced nature of news.

Every visual element was designed with ex*****on in mind, from the channel promos that set the tone for the brand’s new direction to the individual show openers and bugs that retained uniqueness while aligning with the overarching system. The challenge was not just to create a unified look but to ensure that Zee News, Zee Business, and Zee Bharat each retained their own distinct design philosophy and identity within the system.

This meant designing elements that were modular, adaptable, and future-proof—capable of handling breaking news, in-depth analysis, and evolving content formats without losing consistency. Smooth transitions, intuitive layouts, and habit-forming design cues were carefully implemented to make the viewing experience feel natural, immersive, and engaging.

This wasn’t just a redesign—it was a complete transformation of how Zee News presents itself to the world. A bold new visual identity, a robust system for on-screen graphics, and a commitment to redefining Hindi news for the future. With this rebrand, Zee News is not just reclaiming its place in the industry—it’s setting a new benchmark for what news broadcasting can be.
