During Uplift's technical support visit to Dungarpur was happy to see the pilot of Cattle Mutual launched on the lines of the Health Mutual. Based on the principles of risk reduction and solidarity the Cattle Mutual is a step forward in securing the lives and livelihood of our tribal households and the women are again leading it! People's Education and Development Organization

Using the lessons from health mutual, P**O pilots a cattle mutual Uplift Mutuals has been technically supporting (pricing, client education, risk management, risk prevention, governance, software, quality control) Peoples Education and Development Org (P**O) facilitated Self Help Group federations run by women in setting up and running the community health mutual

Uplift wishes its very first doctor in the Uplift health team , one of the founding team members ( working with Uplift for the past 17 yrs ) a very happy birthday.

Dr Abhijit Sale was the person who started the health services by personally conducting the OPD's in the slums, handling the helpline and creating the Uplift network of Health care providers and checking the claims

He has greatly influenced the health care response and design culture in Uplift services whereby every doctor on the team is committed to deliver quality health care and give enough time to each patient.
